And now a question. How much input did you have when it came to the cover

For a novel, the usual amount: Zilch divided by the square root of zip.
In other words, none, but I'm happy with the result. It was nice to
be surprised by the scenes the editor and illustrator chose to depict.

Thanks. You might take comfort in the fact that very few authors are queried
as to the choice of artwork. Tim Powers, (author of The Drawing of the Dark,
The Anubis Gates, The Stress of Her Regard and Declare) once told me that he
was always "out of the loop" when it came to the cover art for his books,
but was nevertheless pleased with the artist's vision.
