My god, the title reminded me of the song, I'd nearly forgotten about it. I
used to play it on the Radio in College. Now I forget who did it, and I want a copy....

Nice pic. Kindof looks like one of the episods from star trek where
picard plays the private eye.

I like this Steve. Not exactly sure of the reference ("The Friends of Mr.
Cairo"?), but I do like the overall "film noir" feel to the pic.

Sam Spade-ish type of character, yah.
On the left is Orson Welles (ala Brain), the villain is Edward G., the
bartender is Peter Lorre, and the moll is Lauren Bacall.

Yup! That's the album. I think WKDU had the 7 track version.

(Odd that the only CD listed is the 6 track).

Lordy. WKDU. That brings back memories. Remember the listener who
complained that your program gave her nightmares?

I always loved sitting in with Pastor Craig Roll on "Breakfast with
'Bob'". I used to close the show with the old Uncle Don line, "That'll
hold the little bastards!" :)

(yeah, yeah, I know, I know:)

Hmmm, not that one. But I remember how having (Damn! Forgot his name, that
musician) on my show got me suspended. Getting the "edited" version of the air
tape didn't help. But then, Tina Bird had it in for me no matter what. What
ever happened to Al Strang?

Eventually, a cousin of mine went to Drexel and went on to 'KDU. Ben Davis. I
think you were still there while he was.

Ah, College days. We had it better than we knew then, even if we WERE broke and
our computers only ran at 1 Mhz.... We had more fun then than we do now.

Hmph, we never did get our copies of The Fabulous Adventures of Mr. Buckethead.
How will I ever break into Hollywood without a copy of my three roles! :-)

"From Each according to his Abilities, To Each according to his Needs" is a
pretty sweet deal, if you're a needy incompetent, but it makes a slave of the
capable and independent. Advocating such a position says an awful lot about the
individual who does so, and which side of the equation he expects to be on.

"The reason it's called the Squeaking Squid...is because it SQUEAKS!"
"Fucking Sid and Marty Kroft! I'll show them!"
- Of course, there was no sound for THAT particular line....

Too bad I was never able to bean you with the paper as precisely as I did in
rehersal. :-)

BTW, "Pulstar" has been utterly ruined for me by the Greaseman. I just
listened to it and started cracking up:

For more Greaseman, go to greaseman.org and check out the Bit Vault...
