This Horace Wackenbush illustration from the 1917 children's book The
Courageous Catamount by Giles Smethington has art historians puzzled.
The title character, a tea-sipping poetry-composing mountain lion, must
reach into his primal past and find the fortitude to help a knight slay
a menacing dragon. The Catamount's resemblance to a 1960s animated big
cat is uncanny . . . and vividly illustrates what can happen when the
wrong people get their hands on some clipart and GIMP.

This is silly! :o

But hay, The blending in is kinda well done.
