This could be someone from the same world as the last drawing I
posted. She almost looks like she is waving at a passing train/car.
Once again it is not inked; maybe I will get around and do it soon.
Comments and feedbacks are always welcome.
She's a cutie! Can't wait to see her inked; when you do, may I take a
crack at coloring her?

Thanks for the compliments! She definitively looks like the kind of
girl someone would turn around and say hi to. At least I would. ;)

About getting her inked, I drew her about 5in tall. I do not know if my
inkind would do her justice. But, you ar emore than welcome to colour
her =)

Easy fix: Print her out enlarged, and ink on a vellum or tracing paper
overlay.
Hmmmm, I wonder if I will be able to get some velluim tomorrow ;)

OK. Here's a quickie digital airbrush job. Whaddaya think?
Can I say "Wow!"? I have to say even in your quickie job she became
alive. =)

Man, I wish I was not as colour dumb (as opposite to colour blind) as I
am.

Very cool. I myself was raised in aeronautical university. I learned
about playing with ejective seats (i.e. you do not play with them while
seating in one ;) before I was 10. My "coloring" books (more like books
to copy drawings from) was Boeing manuals. Man, I miss those books
sometimes.

Botton line is that I lived in a B&W world.

The store was closed by the time I went there, but I found a vellum
sheet pad (100%) at Office Depot. So, I got it enlarged (160%), inked
and, scanned. I emailed you at the address above. When I do receive a
reply (hopefully before I live to go to a friend's house to drop a turbo
back in a car and work on the AC in another), I shall send the scanned
(and not reduced) image.

If you have seen one of my previous drawings in colour, you will
notcie I have been simply filling entire regions with a given colour.
The idea is: pick a few colours and see how it works. If they do not,
keep changing them until they look like they will. Most people seems to
be able to look at the drawing and know exactly which colours to use.

Which reminds me, I need to torque down the head bolts on my '71
Mercedes 250 sedan...
Is it the usual 3 torque settings and then turn X degrees? BTW, I
have a 75 300D in which I dropped a 1983 300SD engine + tranny. That is
the one I was going to put the turbo back in today, after I rebuilt it.
Wicked beast.

Hmmmm... I love the smell of Diesel in the Morning. ;)

Which one, BTW?
Well, father used to work at Dassault-Bregett (sp?), then we moved to
Brazil (Hwei! I guess I was pretty close to your hunting grounds)
because he got a job teaching at ITA, a moose throw from where they
build the Brasilia commuter plane. I myself then went to UF to get my BS
in Aero there.

"Mauricio is five years old. Why can he already draw a cutaway view of
a hydraulic booster?"
Close enough. One time in our arts class we were supposed to draw
some nice and proper farm scene. I was trying to figure out how the
thrust reverter (sp?) in a 737 would deploy. Another trip to the
principal's office...

Wellll...truth is, I fiddle with colors, too. Nice thing about digital

Now you have to draw a catgal with tassels for me to color. ;9
Gimme a bit of time! My problem is that sometimes it feels a
character must walk up into my mind and hit me on the head saying, "ok,
chum. I have a story to tell." Then I have to try to draw and put down
what I know about her/him/it. So, that will happen when the tasselled
catgirl decides to drop and say hi. ;)

In the mean time, I emailed you some of my older drawings to keep you
busy while I weasel my way and gain some time. =)

Yeah, done with the engine at 80 degrees C. I just love removing hot,
oily valve covers, don't you? :P

And don't get me started on Zenith carbs...

Kewl. My latest project car is a 73 450SE. Pre cats. Yum. :D Gotta
troubleshoot the EFI, cos it's not getting gas. Fuses are OK, so I
suspect a relay went blooey.

Me, too:

The mouse came with the car, and showed itself while I was driving it
home. The finback is another former denizen of the Marmel Home for
Wayward Benzes, see:

for some of my former collection from when I lived in Phila (I'm in
Arkansas, now)...

Gotcha. I got my A&P from Northrop U. back in '83, myself. Never used
the damn thing, alas; at the time, aircraft mechanics were a dime a
dozen, so I went into other fields...
