Fur: Freedom...

I know it's sketchy. Most people wouldn't take a glance before throwing
it into their file of sketches. But this...I did this last night for a
kid that just couldn't fight anymore. It's sketchy cause it's how I was
feeling...like nothing was certain anymore.
My little foster kitten, Hinge, was put to sleep yesterday. Life ended
before it had barely even started.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how it is to lose a feline friend who's only
barely been introduced to you. I took in a beautiful black stray cat whom I
was hoping would be a friend to my current kitty (also a stray).
Unfortunately after taking him to the vet for initial check-ups I got a call
informing me he had Feline Leukemia and had to be put to sleep immediately. I
hardly got to know him at all, but he seemed a calm, friendly character.
Perhaps he can keep Hinge company and show your fosterling where the best
napping spots are.

It may be sketchy, but it is very appropriate, done from the heart. I beg
of you to make no changes to the sketch.

I too am sad you lost Hinge, but... you still have Hinge in your heart,
and in your sketch; and now, we all have Hinge to remember, or at least
I, for I have made the sketch into a desktop for awhile...
